What sand are you going to use? I just added in some Bimini pink id give it 4/5 stars I feel like my batch had too many small particles and are being blown easier with my flow set up the my Fiji pink sand I also have in the tank

I’m using the Carib sea live sand-it’s medium grain. Going for more lps this time around so gentler flow hopefully sand doesn’t blow all over the place.

Yeah the fine sand flies all over.

Not sure yet on which radions. I want to hang the ATI fixture first and see how much coverage I get. Most likely will do the 30s.

Yup already got my name on the list. Should have one soon. Can't wait...love my apex gear.

I recently took down my powermodule fixture and switched to the new ReefLED 90s and the corals are loving it.

Tested the tank with rock and ro/di water-Wow this rock is super clean after two acid dips [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] so ready to add salt/live sand/bacteria

Okay finally hung the light fixture. Later on I want to add two kessils just for shimmer.

The sump is super simple, skimmer, apex problems, and dos lines for alk/cal. I want to add one more dos for couple of other supplements.

The equipment part of the stand holds only the doser/containers. I have enough room for a calcium reactor in a few months.

Ro/di is gravity fed from the fishroom closet-I did not even take out the Red Sea top container from the box. Hate it!

Looking good! :) I may replace my filter socks with those cups soon (If I don't decide to sell and upgrade first).

LOL - I have been planning on doing the same with mine, but I need to get two more Stenner pumps and run about 200' of RO tubing through the attic and into the wall. I did this for the AWC and it was a pain. I had back pain for almost a month! :cautious:

^^^so are you pumping water from the garage directly to sump?

I got lucky there is a water connection right outside so I ran the ro line through the wall in the fishroom closet to the ro di unit

Yes. Thanks to "Cody's brilliant ideas" I got Stenner pumps that pull SW from the tank in the garage, goes up to the attic, across some rooms, down into a wall, then into the sumps. I got dual head Stenner pumps, so they also remove water from the other side of the sump at the same time. :)
