I have a Red Sea refer 90 LED
that will no longer connect to my Internet via the app. Purchased back in late October cannot get a connect for anything. They sent out a replacement and it does the same thing. I have a brand new docsis 3.1 modem and gig speed Internet. Has anybody else had this issue? Settings changes for the router? I really dont want to return it but if this can't be fixed I'll need a different brand?

I run 4 ReefLEDs on my tank without issues. Can you take a screen shot of the error message when adding the light to the App?

Just says connection timmed out. At first I thought it was a signal issue but I took it right beside my modem and it still happens.

Connection timed out usually means the issue is with the home network ex. Firewall not allowing the communication to go through. If you have another smart phone that is capable of broadcasting a hotspot, attempt to link the light through the App but this time select the hotspot and see what happens.
