Imma wait for you to go to bed. Then imma get me a free generator.
Haha good luck. Just moving around the generator in its shed is a chore, let alone getting it out.

A terrible storm came through and knocked down a lot of trees. Probably won't have power for a minute, and hurricane season is just around the corner. Glad I have a home backup generator!

My brother is on the market for a natural gas one. I just texted him to go check out what Costcco has cooking.

When we lose power I just hook up to my truck. It has a 7.2Kw inverter onboard and will power most of the house during extended outages. That bad storm that rolled through the other day and knocked out power for some 280K people, I was out from 6:30 pm to 3 AM. The truck only used about 1.5 gallons of gas to keep the fish tank running, 2 8k btu portable AC units, two refrigerators, and plus lights and ceiling fans. Best part is it did it near silently the entire time.

If we decide to buy the house were renting I'll have a whole house unit put in but for now the truck of my secondary propane generator will do the job.

Yeah that Ranger (I believe it's a Ranger that I saw at FJW) is a solid frickin truck. Whichever make/model it was, very nice vehicle!

The Ranger is gone. While I miss it, it had a water leak they couldn't ever find/fix. Got tired it if smelling like a cat box every time it rained. So I traded it in for a F150 Powerboost (Hybrid). That's the one with the inverter onboard. Its been an absolute game changer for camping and providing emergency backup power when needed.
