This was the third time I've attended RC, and the third time I've won food. It's also the second time I specifically won the Reef Nutrition package. It's become a nice tradition.

I'm going to the big car and boat show in Seabrook tomorrow, so I'll try the reef safe sunscreen we got in our goodie bags so I can safely work on the tank when I get home. I'll try to get a picture of the new corals then.
If my feet weren't so sore I might be tempted to go check out some boats.

Love the reef safe sunscreen! Very timely with whats being done in Hawaii and the work MG is doing with corals and the Florida coastal reef. Should make this years back stage tour pretty awesome!

All I need now is reef safe soap and my investment is secured.

Ignore the QT tanks cleanliness I usually do my tank cleaning on Friday nights or Saturdays. Those white dots are spirit of worms. No idea how they survive through Cupramine. Best pictures I can get of them right now.

During the Q&A part at the end of Bob Fenner's second talk, a very young boy raised his hand just to tell Bob that this was his best day ever! The kid was so excited I was afraid he might explode. It was great to see a new generation of reefers so excited about the hobby. He wants to have a tank with lots of anemones and clownfish.

I want to thank the entire BOD for reef currents it was amazing during the short time I was there! I did pick up some cool lps! I still need to acclimate. But it will only take me like 45 mins with a dip.

Also just wanted to thank all those who came up to my dad And hoped that I had a great time at prom... I did!! It’s easiest one of the best nights if not the best night!!

Since I only got like 30ish mins to shop Ima go the lfs and search for after sales!

Not sure if the seachem rep is on marsh or not, but thank you for the fuel! My dad told me that she told him to give it to Luman01 Which is me! Lol kinda had a freak out moment 😂😂

Happy reefing!
Lucas

I need to get some reef safe mosquito spray. I work in the garage and outside a lot, forget I spray my arms, and before I know it, I'm elbow deep in my tank.

I was too busy working and didn't even look at the tanks until the final hour of the event. I was on uhaul duty loading up everything, hauling it around, and unloading it so I ended up not getting a single coral. Wasn't sure if I could get them home before late last night so I didn't want to kill anything.

However, I did end up picking up one of the new Hannah salinity checkers from Dirk, and I've been playing with it this morning. My initial impression is great. A quick, easy, digital readout for salinity that's adjusted for temperature. My refractometer has only needed adjusting twice in four years, so I know it's reliable. However, the Hannah is quicker and easier to read. They say it needs to be calibrated once a month, which is more than I'm used to, but I'm fine with it so long as it remains accurate.

A lot of the stuff I liked and wanted was over 100 a frag and I just couldn’t justify it at this time. I went with a few other pieces with bright color and I don’t see them show up as much locally. Only bought one stick to replace the one that died when I had an ato/issue with alk swing. Luckily JF worked with me on the price.

I got a JF Yellow Jacket - I've been trying to get one of these for a while but didn't feel like paying full price. Also a cool Ricordia with 3 mouths. Under the vendor's lights it looked bright orange with yellow mouths, all my lights can get is less-bright yellow-orange and green mouths, but it's still pretty. And a particularly bright pink Strawberry Shortcake from Ocean Life. And all on my beautiful dino-infested sand bed.

We were watching the JF pimped out Tenius but I could not justify paying $500 for the frag. I would've paid $350 :drool::drool::ohwell::ohwell::ohwell:
