I’m trying to get another tank setup to house encrusting corals as I really don’t have much rock work. That way I can move stuff around. I would like to get an even balance of colors. My original plan was to keep certain corals on separate rock structures that’s why I put 4 different towers but that didn’t work out how I planned haha

Haha, I know about things not working as planned. I built up a nice high spot in the middle of the tank that was to be the prime Acro area, but the anemone claimed it for its own, then split to take up even more space, and now I can't put Acros anywhere near that area.

Haha lucky mine have stayed put on the bottom. The nice thing about my rock structure is I can pull all the pieces out. They are stacked and drilled and pvc holds them together. So I can pull them out and redo if I ever decide to.

Name drop some of those acros! Tank is looking good.

Also, how do you get your frag plugs to stick so well to the rock? I've been gluing mine to some epoxy then gluing that to the rocks. Didn't trust gluing the plugs straight to the rocks.

Haha yeah I don’t have a lot of names for them,,,, Some I know; some I bought not knowing anything, or were given to me. If you see one you want to know the name of I can try my best.

I just use super glue gel and glue it directly to the rock. It’s not hard to break off if you decide to move them. I put a ball of glue, dip into water till outside gets firm, push where I want, pull back off put more glue, stick into place and twist a little, hold till it sets.
