We're about ready to buy and I want to know where I can get the biggest bang for my buck. Preferrably good quality with relatively easy assemblage. I was considering www.airwaterice.com. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I got my RO/DI from walter at airwaterice and couldnt be more pleased. They are very responsive to questions and have great customer service. I got the dual home/reef 75 gpd, makes for good drinking water too.

If you have time swing by global and check out the aquamaxx ro/di system. I got the 100 gpd system there and the price was cheaper than most other similar quality ro/di systems. It has a built in tds meter to boot. I have been using mine for roughly 4 months or so and couldn't be happier. Later.

I got the same system as Shane about 4 months ago and have been very pleased. I recommend getting the same model -or something similar - with the drinking kit. For one, it's really convenient for doing topoffs. It stores about 3 gallons of water in a pressurized cannister to use for the drinking water. When I need topoff water, it passes the stored water through the DI first, before it starts processing new water.

Bottom line, it takes me about 10-15 minutes to fill a 5g bucket, because the first 3g have been stored and come out right away. Otherwise, it would probably take 1.5 - 2 hours to fill my topoff bucket, which I have to do every other day.
