It's funny looking at the pics is helping me see a few rock tweaks I want to make, as well as the cleaning of the little rubble that broke loose! the tank is 4 feet wide and 3 feet in depth for those that don't know! My main goal was not to have any visible equipment and strong circulation. I am happy with the results!

This looks sweet Mark. Are you going to have your koralias behind the rock work? I like how the rocks go all the way to the top of the tank. Those monti caps are going to look super nice in that tank. I can't wait to see it stocked!

Thanks~!

Most of the flow is from a close loop!
I did put 2 Koralias in the back as I saw accumulation was going to happen there. With that said 2 Koralia are the entire in tank hardware, so what you see is what you get.

I really like the bare minimal rock work we have seen lately but when I did that I just could not get over not seeing more rocks. Hence this version. A few of those rocks at the top are actually out of the water an inch or so. I think this look is growing on me! As far as the caps I think they will go left and right side mid tank level in the middle of me closed loop returns at the top and bottom of the back wall. At least thats the plan for now!

Markie, EXCELLENT
I knew it was going to be a great project. I can appreciate your attention to detail. It shows. 8)
Cannot wait to see it in person.
I may have missed it but are you going to move alot of your stuff from the old tank? or adding to this one and keeping that one as is?
Your old tank is super to begin with but you are going to surpass it anyway with this one. I can tell.
Exciting. :D

Thanks Cynthia!

I am not going to be keeping up the other tank!
I can only afford 1.

Some of the stuff from the other will cross over but not all!
I know you liked the bare rock look, but I am happy with this style!

Well, you know how new fads look in a picture. Cannot really tell until you get it right there in front of you. But, I still like your version very much. Very airy and sculpted. Doesn't look like a dump truck backed up into your tank with a load of liverock. :)
Progress feels so good.
Keep us posted.

Well I am not ready for an unveiling but I have finished one element!
I had made a floating ring I was not sure what I was going to do with but I really liked it!

I introduce to you with half the lights off and barely just glued, so they need some acclimation time to really open, but a sneak peek of the

Thanks!
The Ring of Rics worked out really well. Thanks Lance!
I am VERY happy with it.

I am not ready to unveil more just yet!
I still have some brain debates I have to work out with myself on what to do...

I know I have some rocks in the tank I now want out. Tomorrow!
I am leaning to more to less is more now! I am understanding now as I place corals. Thanks John!

The rocks are no longer going to the top or anywhere near.

Most of my debate is one what to move over form my current tank now!
I have a huge frogspawn and hammer and I am not sure they are going to make the cut now!

Thanks Cynthia!

Lance it is the size that has me worried.
I did develop a special niche for the in the rocks when I place them. so they are planned for but I am not sure in real action if it will turn out as planned.
I really want them to both be center pieces one over the other. I do plan to try and make it work just not sure if it will go as planned. i have 20% reservations it might not!

Well I have not figured out just yet how to get the camera settings right, but here are a few. Hopefully soon I will learn how to get a full shot and the color correct. The top is reserved for some more acro. Nealy complete, just a few small touches, the stand trim, and an acro search.

Here are a few sneek peeks!
I can say It has turned out as I planned.

Heres a few more better pics. I am still trying to figure out the magic of why the camera can't take a whole tank shot decently but come close ups work fine.

Any how typical new tank diatoms that will pass but wanted to share some more... lots needs to adjust to the flow to fully open but another peek!

Thanks John!

Good observations!

Apparently 8 bulbs are a lot brighter than 6.
The clam, the orange volcano, a few some others guys are having to re acclimate to the new lighting. The clam look for shade not long after you left. Not sure if it is 8 over 6 or the new bulbs I am trying out, but there are a few guys blinded right now no doubt.
