Rods and LRC Larry's are the leading quality frozen food suppliers as we speak.
I mix both together with fresh frozen blackworms and PE Mysis, mix that with selcon a pinch of Focus and Metronidazole against parasites
and you have a Diesel brew :hungry:

I recently tired it since I won a pack of it in the Reef Currents 2016 raffle. Fish liked most of the ingredients in them. With time I am sure they'll gobble up those few they don't care for as well.
I will be buying these in the future.

I like Larry's better. Not so many particulates. Seems cleaner.
Plus the dude is ultra passionate about what he does.

I always thaw out frozen food in a cup of RODI water and use a brine shrimp net to strain it. Like d2mini said Rods food does seem dirtier than others ive tried but you could always thaw it out and strain it if you felt necessary.
I just got into that habit with all frozen food so as not to worry about putting in excess phosphate in the water.

Although Rods web site says not to rinse it since its made that way on purpose to feed your entire reef including corals and such.( Just read this on their site)

I also find Rods to small to feed as a primary food. Just dirties up the tank. I make a mix of food with a very small pinch of Rods to feed the coral. Larry's is dang near perfect.

Yeah you wouldn't want to rinse either of them. There is nothing in Larry's foods that needs to be rinsed out. You can eat it yourself. Nothing but fresh seafood and some probiotics.
