Today my Lawnmower Blenny died. My favorite fish. I tested everything and the only discrepancy is the nitrates were a little high. But not by a lot. Everything else was perfect. All the coral seems fine and the other fish are acting normal too. Maybe the Starry Blenny was bullying him. Idk. Sucks though

Yeah sometimes it's just a mystery. Sucks to lose your favorite fish.

I really dislike mine.... you want him!? Mine is a jerk to humans. He strikes me every time my arm is in the tank and hides under a rock! He's like a little sniper. LOL

Obviously it doesn't hurt, just shocking when out of nowhere a little fish pops the back of your hand/arm while you're moving stuff.

My tank is in Kingwood. In the very near future I am going to tear it down & redo it, so I'll be catching all my fish & taking my live rock out. When I do, and I can catch the little guy, he's all yours.

That'd be awesome. I ought to be upgrading my tank size very soon and then would be able to take you up on that.

I had the same problem. My lawnmower was a GHA eating machine and when it was gone he had to forage more and the starry blenny didnt like him in his territory. Not certain if the starry killed him or he just starved even though I would give him algae pellets. I told myself I will never have 2 blennies in the same tank again. Loved the camo on my lawnmover.
