Hello MARSH I just found out I have scoliosis its really bad I might need surgery or a back brace so I will keep you guys updated I just got the x rays done now I have to wait for the results and I will keep you guys updated

Well, that’s not good...but It can be treated. May Jesus be with you and comfort you during surgery. I pray for peace and a fast recovery.

Thank you i just got the x-ray it looks bad so chances are i will need surgery but i wont know till monday
Well...let’s pray you don’t. Remember it’s only a lateral curvature of the spine. I know some people just live with it. I’ll pray tonight and you should too. Together we’ll believe that God will do what’s best for you. He’s in control! I’m speaking specifically about Jesus. I feel like I need to clarify that as people these days believe/worship false God’s.

Hi, Grant. We haven’t formally met, but I was on the Zoom bingo thing. Several people in my family have bad scoliosis and my cousin had several surgeries when she was younger (over 30 yrs ago, so I’m sure the doctors are better at it now). I know you, your family, and your doctors will choose the best treatment. Hang in there and try not to worry (easier said than done, I know). I hope you get good news Monday.

So the doctor called and said it’s really bad but we will find out toomorrow or wensday what needs to happen

I do feel getting it taken care of while you are young is the right thing. I really hope for your case that you can wear a brace and have it straighten back to proper form.
My Ex-Wife had 5 back surgeries while we were together (XLIF (twice), Spinal Cord Stimulator, removal of hardware, etc)... and she had a bad case of scoliosis when she was young, but they never decided to do anything about it. So as she got older it her back problems became a lot more prominent. While the doctors didn't say the scoliosis was 100% the reason for the other problems she had, they did say it played a large part as it put more pressure on the areas that needed to be operated on.
Back surgeries are very serious, they are a lot of work (start building up your core and your lungs). I generally don't recommend it to people as I've seen a lot of surgeries not help at all... but i'm sure your doctor will recommend the right course of action for you.
My parting advice is I would do whatever you can to fix it immediately so that it doesn't cause more dramatic problems later in life.

news just came in they said they wont see me for another 6 months so they are not doing anything know i don't know why they are doing this
Wow, that's frustrating - so you don't even know if it's good news or bad news.

Might be God’s will!
Hopefully that means they think in 6 months there's a chance things will improve somewhat. I think if they felt surgery was unavoidable, you would know. Same for the brace.
How old are you? Maybe they expect that certain growth plates will, well, grow, and that your condition will improve over the next few months.

well the way it happend was me growing too fast and caused my spine to start growing in a weird shape it's just going to get way worse doctors tell me I grow half in inch every month they always record my height and i have grown in inch in two months so i don't get why they are doing this im 13 and im in like 96-98 percentile of height which
