I currently have a 158 reef tank, with a few SPS,LPS, large size clam and a few fish..... My daughter who at the time was 11 years old asked "dad, can we get a gold fish"??? My response, SURE BABY !! My friend James introduced me to this wonderfully crazy hobby that I've grown to love....

3 years later, were building our Family room custom REEF TANK..

The TANK is 271 gallons , coast 2 coast , Beananimal overflow system. The glass is "Starphire" This glass is lead free and low iron. 72 x 30 x 27

SUMP design and manufacturing - 3rd coast coral - Bryan and Kyle were the fellows that assisted with this side of the build. They offered there expertise in design and construction.. The end results is CRAZY AWESOME !!

PLUBMING - schedule 80

LIGHTING - EcoTech Marine - 5 units will be used.....

Stand & Canopy - custom design and manufacturing "Ben" "dark8angel" member of marsh... I have been so impressed by this mans work, his attention to detail and client needs has been unmatched... A total pleasure to work with.. This is not his profession but a hobby that he clearly loves....

Skimmer - ATB - I purchased the skimmer from FJW "Dennis" offered a good price and good customer communication....

Main pump - ATB 1500GPH - purchased from FJW "Dennis"

Dosing system - Bubble Magus -

ZEOVIT system - purchased online.

This is my current tank and it is not in my favorite place...... I will be transferring most of this coral into the new tank and donating the rest to folks new to the hobby..

Hey Jason - doing this thread over again was on my list..... I plan on having it wet in about 10 to 14 days, A few set back but nothing major. I need to swing by and have a look at all the new things in your tank as well as the new addition to your family !!

Stand & Canopy - design and construction "Dark8angel" trimmed in Quarter-sawn , we are currently designing new doors.... If you'll notice, inside the canopy it will hold the 5 "radions" that will be adjustable left to right and front to back ...

All that and a fish room! Very cool, love to have all those outlets and space.

The outlets will help for sure... Fish room?? No way, I had to give up part of my master bedroom closet for this.

My wife says "I'm fine with it, as long as its your side of the closet"....

Feels good to be a little closer !!
