I just ordered 2 of the gyre 250's, I hope this will give the corals a boost of growth.

I have two of the icecap 3k gyres on a couple of frag tanks and really like the flow they provide. I would pick them over the other MP10's I have as well.

What i have done with a jebao that was oversized for my tank before, was to replace the power supply with an adjustable one. All those pumps are typically 24V so if you get an adjustable brick and start cutting down (say anywhere from 15V to 12V) you could further adjust the power of the pumps. Not ideal of course but a solution that will work.

Goes without saying that if you can sell them or return them and get something smaller then that should probably be your next thing to do...

Well the 230's said good up to 100 gallons, I have a 125g right now and I read that with these gyres its best to not run them past 50-60% cause of the noise level. Also, I wanted to future-proof in case I ever decide to upgrade to a bigger tank.

Then i think you can play with the power supply like i said, might give you the best flexibility...

10% seems like the lowest in only some of the programs, other programs lowest is 20%. I tried the LTC mode and now Im playing with Random mode.

To be honest with you I have not read the manual yet - Mine came with 2 giant catalogs - I just played with the controller and set it up. Not too difficult. But soon I'm going to read the manual once I move the tank in wall.

Still doing my own research on pumps as I'll be setting up my tank soon....love this discussion so far. Hope to get some more opinions.
