Hello reefers! i recently picked up some cool sps at the frag swap yesterday, and my orange montipora digitata and elkhorn montipora are slimy and not extended. I know they might be stressed from transport in bags, but only the 2 out of 4 are like that and the bag water was polluted when i got home. The params are 0 ammmonia, 0 nitrite, 0ish nitrate(API) and 1300 mag 420 calc (salifert).

Corals will slime up due to that they are stressed or the water parameters are not in their favor.
When I shipped frags I always bagged them underwater as if they were exposed to air they will slime up and release that in their bag with as result the nutrients in the bag is high and corals loose color.
We all heard about this when we buy corals and see the pics nice and colorful when they finally show up at your door the color is off and you're not happy, this can happen.
try in all times to keep your corals under water for less stress and it will keep is color as well.

Yes i dipped the corals in coral rx, yeah sadly there was some air in the bag, i just found it wierd that even the orange digitata showed low low coloration, and it wasnt bleached. Do you think they will recover?

As Ben was saying above, slimming and bleaching is normal for SPS when being moved from tank to tank, being handled, temperature swings, etc. Frag Swaps can be hard on SPS as they are handled quite a bit. Stability is absolutely key in them regaining there color. I would not recommend handling them any more. FYI, if any of the corals were from me and they don’t recover, I’ll make sure you get another frag. You can come pick it up directly from my tank to avoid excessive handling.
