Did anything make it?
All the zoas are fine and most of the mushrooms. The sps have a few polyps left. The jury is still out on whether they will recover, and if so, who knows how long it will take.

What tank did you move them to? I didn't think you had that much room in the house.
The 40 breeder on the left. The 40 breeder on the right is full of rocks at the moment.

Eh just five blue chromis. I was upset about losing the large sps colonies. One of them might slowly recover. One is completely dead, another is hanging on by a thread, and one still has a little color left in it

Little update on the main tank. Finally got the final black box in and modified my canopy for them to fit. I had made the gap about 1/8" too thin so whenever I put the units in, the button on the front clicked and changed the lights. The mistake wasn't planned, but rather something that just happened to be off a little after building. The solution was to drill out a little where the buttons go. Worked well.

The problem that I'm running into now is that my tank just ends up looking too white due to the t5 combo that I have. I run my blue leds at 100% and whites at 1% and it's just too white. I need to get rid of a blue plus for another actinic maybe. By not being able to crank my leds up more I'm losing par for the sake of color rendition.

Looking nice man!
Thanks bud! I'm going to slowly start killing the cube and moving things over. I'm worried a little because I have so much more light in the new tank, but as long as any corals don't start acting goofy, we are good. The goal is to move a colony or two per week.

Im really digging the red sponge on the top left rock. I don't want to cover it up but I also can't waste that prime real estate. We will have to see. Even after the secondary system in the fish room being killed by yours truly, if I put everything that I have in this tank, it will be stocked immediately. Just trying to do that without killing anything.

Any updates?
Yeah I'll have some more soon. At the moment, just have a couple new fish and finally had to throw on a dosing pump. Alk was getting low. I'm still trying to sort out my lighting situation and which t5s I want to use.

What doser did you pickup?
I had an old jebao sitting around. It's a temporary fix. Plus I set the dang thing up before I went out of town. Never make an adjustment to your tank within two weeks of you leaving town. I broke the rule and it worked out fine this time. It's hurt me bad in the past though.

funny thing.. the jaebo DP-4 uses the EXACT same menu systems as the Aquamedic Reef Doser Evo 4. I like the Aquamedic better since the controller is cabled to the box. I like the DP-4 price better...

Although wifi/web interface would be even better.
