If you need any help tomorrow let me know, my dad and I will go up there and help! And will give me a reason to pick up a milli lolI think I'm going to finally consolidate tanks tomorrow. I'm tired of maintaining four systems.

I don't really need the help, but y'all are welcome to come hang out. I've never done a water change on the new main system yet so I might do a big one then migrate everything over. Automatic water changes will be set up very soon though. Can't decide where to house the pump. The original idea was in the attic, but I'm not sure if I want to do that anymore. I want it more accessible. If you need any help tomorrow let me know, my dad and I will go up there and help! And will give me a reason to pick up a milli lol
Ok cool I will text you tomorrow to see what time we come over.I don't really need the help, but y'all are welcome to come hang out. Got a 165 gallon container
Guys I’m really sorry. I provoked Cody into this. I sent him this video recently.
Ha....I am the auto water changer!

I love those valves, so easy to turn but if you use them w/salt water you would need to pull the internal screws and replace with titanium. Also a cool thing with those valves is putting electric actuators on them.
edit:
oh wait I see he is using sprinkler valves. Yeah I don't think that would work for us, springs and such... But the automation is cool.
You could use the pool valves like I said earlier (replace steel screws with titanium) and the electric actuators and do something similar.
Nice, I have AWC envy.I put her to work in the attic this evening. Ceiling drilled, tubes ran, AWC is live.
I'm not quite sure. My calculations put that system at 250ish gallons but I needed enough salt to make 300 when I filled it. I want to do 2% per day starting so that puts me in the 5-6 gallons per day range. I'll probably do 6 just to error on the safe side. That's a monster - how many gallons a day water change?
I know a guy that has a brand new one, never seen water if you're interested. They sell for $350 new. I think he wants $300.Nice, I have AWC envy.

Long story short, yes, a lot of the tubing is in the attic. I'll probably make a video later to walk y'all through how I'm doing itSo you are running this through the attic? Does any part run across living space? I'm wanting to do something similar but my water source for mixing would require a fair bit of thru-attic piping. 25 feet or so. Then go to my holding tank and then all my AWC plumbing would just be exposed in the fish room.
