Cody how wide is your tank?
David is correct. The same tank but with the original corner overflow on the right side is sitting at David's house.

Yep, I just dumped mine in too. I’m getting lazier on every new build.

Yeah I feel ya. I have a general plan, but I also want to order some rock from Tampa bay, so the design isn't "set in stone". Get it? Haha

I’m probably gonna order about 20-30 more lbs of Rock.

Think we will save on shipping if we order together?

Just dropped in 15 blue chromis. I removed all the live rock and sand from my top tank in my alt system into the sump. I've been ghost feeding for a few days but I wanted to make sure the existing bacteria stays alive and expands. Chromis are a lot of bioload per the price so I went with them. See if you can spot them in the tank.

Also, I bought one of the newer Vipar Spectra black boxes second hand today to see if it's similar to the discontinued bloomspects. It is, so I'll be going with two more of them for the display. My lights are gonna rock!!!

The rock looks good...I’d leave it like that. Wish my rocks didn’t look so retarded. They have no shape at all. I could aquascape softballs better than my rocks.
Haha just use softballs then. The scape will change once I get the Tampa bay rock. I did some research too and it looks like there's a 100 pound charge minimum. Looks like we could save some money if we order together. You interested?

The right island looks great - enough room for coral growth but I'm not sure what's going on with the left island. LOL...

Haha like I said, just a couple stacks. Plus, I'm not utilizing the middle of the tank where the par is highest. Need to work on that.

I got a freshwater storage container on Monday. I filled it up today with water and muriatic acid to clean it, and the sucker bows big time. Had to throw some straps on it for piece of mine. Still bows, but the straps are rated for 700 pounds each and the container only holds 70 gallons filled to the brim.

Also hung the grow light for what will be my 40 gallon cube part of the refugium for a rolling ball of cheato.

Gotta move those rocks to another tank in the system.

Curious to see how this $20 Amazon grow light does. It seems to hit the right spectrum, and has plenty of intensity. Need to get some algae soon to test it with. The display is starting to get diatoms.

Ohh man Cody.....15 blue Chromis! I hate to give you this bad news, but if I didn't at least warn you, I'd feel like a ***************. I can almost assure you 99.9% that you just introduced Uronema into your system. :sorry:Everybody in this area and online has been getting slaughtered by it lately. Out of those 15 Chromis, several will most likely die and that will be the conformation if you have it. There is not a fallow period. It can survive w/o a host and live on detritus. NO JOKE. :frusty:

However, the good news is that it mostly attacks the weak. It loves to target Clowns and Chromis the most, but will go after anybody weak. So make sure you feed the fish well (with Metroplex soaked food binded with Focus) and use Selcon to boost their immune systems. :clap2:

IMO, it's in a lot of tanks. Metroplex will target the internal guys and you'll wipe out anything else internal (worms, eggs, etc.)

I recently found some in the fecal matter of my Anthias Trio. I've been feeding metroplex pretty heavy (3x a day with PE Mysis [2 level scoops per 6 cubes with 2 scoops of Focus) and I'm fixing to scope the poop strings again and have a look to see if it's killing them. I also dosed the water column (2 levels scoops per 10/G's).

If this doesn't work there's really no other option other than to do a straight up injection.

Im not worried about it. If it's a disease that doesn't need a host then there's no way it's not in basically everyone's tank.

Oh and I'm already down to four chromis. I didn't put the guards on my overflow and there were some casualties haha! None of them showed symptoms of that disease though. Either way, I have no real intent to keep damsels or chromis long term anyway.
