I got a favia about a month ago. Looks like some kind of worm or tentacle sticking out now. Any idea what this is?

Looks like cyano to me. Try blasting it with a turkey baster and see if it comes off. Otherwise, try plucking it off with your tweezers. Regardless of what it is, it doesn't belong there.

Looks like it was a piece of cyano. Took tweezers to get it off, but smeared on a paper towel when I got it out. Again, thanks for your help on this.
