Silly question, why don’t you just run the media on your smaller skimmer?

I tried that first. Connections were more of a pain, flow was lower, and I wanted to be able to turn the CO2 on and off separate from the skimmer.
This section of the ph was the smaller skimmer hooked up. It didn't keep the ph as high as I wanted over night.

The spike after the stairstep is the larger skimmer being hooked up.

I had it at the lowest power and was still not happy, so on the 19th I cranked the power of the larger skimmer and the night dips got even better.

I have it set to turn on at 8.2 and turn off at 8.21. you can see the stairstep of it cycling, but it still dips lower after lights out.

Cool - I run skimmerless on my 60 gallon, so seeing two makes me twitch.

How often do you have to replace the media?

No clue, just set it up as a test to see how well it worked and how often I would have to change the media to see if it is worth it.

Yeah, I have seen people say it does not change though. Has your PH stayed high and your Alk usage gone up? My Alk was stable for several weeks and since scrubbing CO2 I have had to increase it 32% and I just got it to stop dropping at 8.5. May have to increase it even more to get it back to 9.
