It has been a long time since my last post. I had a large dieoff of fish due to what I believe was velvet and during the same time period I started having issues with my coral being irritated. I tried different approaches to turn around what was going wrong in my tank as advised by my LFS but nothing seemed to take away the irritation the corals were experiencing. Even thought I was doing proper water changes I was experiencing algae growth and over a period of around three months the majority of my corals perished including my three sherman anemones. Another member on marsh came to my house and took what remained of my livestock. Everything was surprisingly great in the beginning for me but the end has been very frustrating. I put quite a bit of money and time into this hobby and I'm not quite ready to completely quit. I am considering selling or trading my equipment and starting a smaller tank which I believe may not be quite are demanding(meaning smaller water changes). I'm thinking something around a 20 to 30 gallon all in one tank and keep it easy softies only. Any thoughts?
