Hi there! I’ve been on here for awhile now and figured it was finally time for me to introduce myself officially and post some tank pics. This is my marriage-threatening project that took about six months to build. Construction was finished in November 2020 and I started moving fish in January. I did all the woodwork myself and have grown a lot of gray hairs in the process. Lol Hubby wasn’t too happy about coming home and finding all the original cabinetry destroyed but he likes the end result so I’m not homeless (yet). Haha

Beautiful job!

I see you have a parrot, but I can't tell what kind.

Is that a real wood floor? That's impressive to keep it looking nice with a saltwater tank.

Thanks so much! I have two eclectus parrots, they are both total brats 😂😂😂 Bella Marie (red) is my girl and Boogers (green) is my boy. The floor is actually Aquaguard waterproof laminate. I can’t say enough good things about it, it takes a serious beating with the tanks and our dog.

Absolutely gorgeous work, Steph! Your final product is very nice. I assume you’ve got some woodworking skills to pull that off!

Probably the best before and after Aquarium pics I have ever seen if not one of them... definately. So were they Kitchen Cabinets?

After seeing your Naso I can understand why you want to help mine out. They are one of Nature's top fish when it comes to beauty. And mine is just a bebe.

Aww thanks! It was a whole lot of trial and error…and error…and error! Lol I’ve done some basic cabinetry and other small projects but this humbled me lol

Thanks so much! ☺️ They original cabinetry was built in the 70’s to accommodate one of those old TVs on wheels. Lol
