Very astute, yes they are. I did not find anything with lower AWG ratings in a quick follow up search. Thank you for saving me from the disappointment that would no doubt have occurred when i ordered them on a whim with the expectation of being able to clean up and eliminate the bane of wire nests we all suffer from.

So still battling phosphates. 200+ on the phosphorus checker!

Going to start dripping LaCL this evening into 4x10 micron filter socks.

Oddly enough.. I have looked into that before🤓

BTF-LIGHTING 5pairs 3 Core 3pin Black Pigtail Plastics Waterproof IP65 led connctor for Strip Light Male Female 40cm/Pair Applicable 0.75mm² 22mm nut https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D2I9818/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_GEdeEbH91T2Y6

My curiosity was more towards drilling small holes to route cables through and then connect the plug again but it could work for quick disconnect as well.
Those are for low voltage correct?

Says:
Rated voltage:500V
Rated current:6A

Still I would look for something with thicker wires like you mentioned.

There are a lot of things like this out there: https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Connector-Voltage-Power-Industrial/dp/B07BKWCMM9?th=1

But I just don't like those types of connectors personally.

Your other option just in case - it's much safer - I used this in my 500/g and it's a good product. Does not hurt corals/fish. You can drip directly into the sump/tank.

No I’m not positive. But I know it’s a bad thing when you add the reagent and the water turns a visible blue.

Reagent is < 6 months old.

I have the standard solutions and meter tests w/in spec.

What a strange hobby this is - you're desperately trying to lower phosphate, I'm having to dose 5ml of Flourish phosphorus 3 times a week just to get a reading of 2 or 3ppb.

Maybe we should get a really long hose and connect our tanks to even things out a bit.
