Whelp seems phosphorous went up to 200ppb.

I filled a 4” reactor about 1/2 full of high capacity gfo.

Planning on another 80g water change Wed. Of next week.

Sorry as usual crappy photos.

Started the final piece of the plumbing puzzle.

This is a distribution manifold.

For reactors, UV and chiller.

I of course managed to order one bushing in the wrong size. Hoping Lowe’s has the piece I need in gray schedule 80.

I need 1/2” spigot x 1/4” fip. I ordered 3/4” spigot by mistake. [emoji19]

Built the caddy to hold my UV sterilizer and chiller this evening. This will allow this equipment to sit behind the tank but be accessible for easier servicing when needed.

I still need to paint or stain it.

One more pic. Kinda ugly right now. I might see about some trim for it.

You were smart leaving so much space behind the tank. Mine is about as close to the wall as it can be. It hasn't been a problem so far, but I fear one day it will bite me.

I started dosing NO3/PO4 reducing bacteria 2 weeks ago along with bringing a GFO reactor online.

My Phosphorus was >= 200ppb (top of range for Hanna ULR).

Last week Phosphorus was 150 ppb and nitrates we’re at or above top of range on Salifert NO3 test.

So I also started dosing NoPox in addition to bacteria.

Today my NO3 was 5ppm and Phosphorus was at 20ppb.

That is with feeding 2-4 sheets of nori and 1 cube of my mysis/brine/etc. daily.

I’m ready for LPS!

Really need to start working on cleaning up wiring and such.

Some of it I clean up, and some of it I don't. I don't know if you remember how my tank looked in the beginning. Very neat and clean. That worked super well for about 6 months until it came time to do maintenance on my skimmer, heaters, return pump, wave makers, etc.

Now, I've left the wires where I can get to them. I pulled off all the cable trays.

My advice....clean up what's easily assessable. What's not easily assessable will be a pain in the rear to dig out later and then put it all back.

May look like crap but it's functional! Right @Cody

Yeah I know what you mean. When it comes to wires, I'm all about function. Maybe one day I will make mine look all pretty, take a picture, then let them go back to a bird's nest haha

Oddly enough.. I have looked into that before🤓

BTF-LIGHTING 5pairs 3 Core 3pin Black Pigtail Plastics Waterproof IP65 led connctor for Strip Light Male Female 40cm/Pair Applicable 0.75mm² 22mm nut https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D2I9818/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_GEdeEbH91T2Y6

My curiosity was more towards drilling small holes to route cables through and then connect the plug again but it could work for quick disconnect as well.

Those are for low voltage correct?
