Have any of y'all ever tried a bike hoist system for hanging your lights? I just found out about them and they could be pretty neat for our application.

probably be good for your application.

I might throw some in just for giggles. There are a couple frag tank lights that I could use it on.

I use these for my bikes. They don't lower evenly, so idk if that will be a problem for you or not.

Did you guys not read through the 800+ posts of my build thread and see the lift I use? [emoji12]

"Installed a light lift for my ATI fixture to make it much easier to pull it up and out of the way while working in the tank.

Thanks to @Sierra Bravo on reef2reef for the idea and on top of that, offering to help install it when he came to pick up frags. I say I helped but I just stood there, handed him tools, and viola, 20 mins later it was installed. [emoji54]

I accidentally ordered two but I'm liking it so much that I'm going to install the extra one over my frag tank.

Haha poor Steve just got his bike hanging system in today. However, just based off of the pics, they look to function the same way. Hard to tell from the pic though.

The one I got specifically has two strings, one that controls each pulley and they are synced via the pull. The one you posted looks to only have one string for that purpose.
