I am looking for someone to build me a tank stand for my 40 Breeder. Nothing extravagant and preferably not a fortune. It is gonna be a grow out tank with a sump. Is there anyone in Houston that does that? Thank you!

You just want a basic wood stand? You can buy a metal stand from petco. Reason I ask is because building materials would cost as much if not more then then metal stand at petco. Cost of wood is double still since covid. Thank you inflation.

Look into extruded aluminum (think 80/20) & design your own. Or there are a few sellers online that sell kits, but you pay a little more. Or find a welder around town.

Be weary of using steel. I built my stand out of steel and powder coated it. Powder coating is extremely porous and rusts easily. I sprayed many coats of a special lacquer on mine in order to seal and protect it.
