Looking at options...
Woke to a leaking tank at 4:30 am Saturday. I now am the proud owner of a beautiful Lagoon!
Can't find the problem, but it's at or near the bottom. Probably getting resealed.

So if I want to get a new stand while waiting for reseal, what/where do you recommend?

I think this is an old Oceanic 210, (7x2x2), the base has 4 doors that are hard to work through and its only 33" tall.
If you think resealing this old tank is a bad idea, tell me why. Cost of a new 200ish tank and stand is cost prohibitive. I do have the option to by a 2 year old custom 72 Peninsula 72x24x30h at a reasonable price, but I would need to get a stand for it. FYI, I'm not talented enough to build a stand that my wife would allow in the house! :)

Oh man that is one of my biggest fears. Sorry you are having issues.

Have you checked with ADG and/or Fish Gallery or Galactic Coral/Urban Aquatics to see if they have anything used?

I had my stand built by rjsaquariumstands@gmail.com . Its a very nice stand but not necessarily cheap - totally custom to your spec's. Has to be shipped.

Thanks Steve. Calling around tomorrow to all the stores to see what's available. I will look up RJS too! doesn't hurt to get an estimate. :)

Hmm, outside aquarium. ah, not for me. I'll stick with koi pond outside and Reef inside. Wife is a little stressed, part of why I'm asking if anyone sees a problem with resealing a tank that's probably 15-20 years old.

It is do easy to make a nice looking sturdy stand. Does your wife like nice Tyle? Pine? Mahogany?

Follow-up to my question:
Got the most recommendations for Chris Buys. He picked up my tank yesterday and said it was probably made in the early 90's. If all the glass is good, then reseal, no problem!

Thanks! Actually I was talking with Andrew this morning about options. That's a nice stand he made for you what are the dimensions?
