So question here for anyone with experience with falco hawkfish. I did general research before i got one. Learned their diet and that they will basically eat anything they can fit in their mouth. But over the past few days this new guy has been going after my yellow watchman specifically. Any time i feed it darts after and chases the watchman to the point I've had to separate them into different tanks. Is there a reason for this? Because they are both bottom/rock dwellers I'm thinking maybe a territory thing. But only see it happen when food hits the water. Like i said they are separate now but just curious if anyone has had a similar experience.

IME, hawkfish are bullies. I had one that harassed my 3 rainford gobies to the point they never came out... they ended up dying.
Sorry you got a bully too. Glad you were able to rescue your goby.

My Falco hasn't been a problem. I've been able to control his aggression by overfeeding him and keeping him full. My guy loves to eat.

Out of curiosity what are you feeding it. This thing wolfs down anything i put in tank and never seems to be satisfied

Mines a pig and eats anything and everything. Live, frozen, pellets, flakes, and anything else that hits the water. I tend mix it up so he doesn't get bored.

I just make sure he has a bulging stomach and he's pretty tamed with his tank mates.
