UPDATE:

I have been in contact with another generous member that is willing to donate a 120gal reef ready tank. The diminsions are 4x2x2. We have the tank in possession so we won't have another flaker :) . Ideally the 75gal tank mentioned previously would of worked perfectly but the guys not responding to my pms. Currently have a GoFundMe page to help fund the rest of the tank and also the up keep. I have a guy that will volunteer to over look the tank once a month on his own time . :) $2500 is a bit much but this should cover expenses for the upkeep. $400 of the $2500 will be allocated for stand and canopy. The rest of the 2100 will go towards, powerhead, rocks, plumbing, substrate , sump, protein skimmer. And if the funds are enough a simple RODI system would help tremondously

Also all the donations mentioned below will also be used in this set up.

Cleaning rocks early in the morning getting ready for setup this morning!!

FJW and Andre have graciously agreed to donate livestock and corals. The tank is pretty big and if anyon has any pest free coral please pm me or post here. We are hoping to have tank up to show next Monday. Sorry if this sounded demanding. I'm ecstatic about this project but at same time stressed. Want everything to run smoothly for the kids and not have any worries for them!

I will keep the updates coming

Today was a fun filled day hanging out with the kiddos and setting up the tank. Well David did most of the work I just supervised and played with the kids . This hole project has widen my respect for these kids even though they have disabilities they don't ever let that hold them back. These kids are truly inspirational. If you ever get the chance to volunteer you would see what I see. I am truly blessed from all the support from Marsh and community. Without the support I wouldn't be here updating.

So here are the plans for next week what I have so far. Is adding fish next week. Tank needs to go through a full cycle before we add any coral.

I am also accepting donations through PayPal to help pay for Coral, test kits.

Example:

If you donate $50 the kids at The Hub will choose the coral of there choice and once that is chosen I will list out the donors and what coral is chosen !! This will be fun for all of us!!

I can provide receipts .

Gotta stay dry I usually cut a whole in the bottom and put it over my head!!

Some porcelain crabs, peppermint shrimp, molly miller blenny, nems, naked goby, darter goby, maybe a skillet fish depending on crustaceans, maybe a pistol shrimp depending on the rock work and substrate.

Hey Chris, there is 80lbs of sand. It's a perfect amount and as for the rock work plenty of hiding spots .
Porcelain crabs, nems, pistol shrimp. Depending on what type of crustaceans. But those would definitely cool.
