I just added 1 130 and it kicks my 2 mp10wes butts. So much easier for a cube. I'm still playing around with placement and modes but my sand bed is all clean now. Its silent up to 40% and a small amount of noise above that, but quieter than my mp10s.

Im also starting to get PE on SPS that I never had extension before.

As for night mode I would assume putting it on a regular timer or just a timed outlet on the apex.

Is everyone happy with these? I have sps 210 and my jeabo just crapped out after a year. I dont really want to spend 350 either but I dont have much of an option at this point.

Still love mine and with the new mounts they're silent.

Got one Wednesday last week , have not had a chance to play with the settings :

first review ,...
1) not strong enough for 8' tank ,..as as manual indicates...( full power) Will upgrade to another unit or 70w unit when available.
2) as already reported struggling with 3/4 glass.
3) vs 2 x mp 60's and 2 rw 25's ,.... ok different pattern...
4) like the wide spread easly covers 32 inches width.
5) still using , mp60's for against back wall, lowest setting.
6) cleaner look without rw 25.
7) defiantly creates the circular motion as advertised and circulates previous dead spots.
8) not disappointed.

update after 6 months ,.... Needed to get 2 nd unit facing each other on apposing walls for 8 ' coverage .... Simple the best power head available today. No longer using mp60, as 2 units are to much....

Only issue I have is the unit becomes sluggish after 2-3 weeks and needs to be cleaned,... This is well documented 3 months is to long....I find I rotate the spare set of blades bushels etc every who week and soak the used units in viniger bath , and rotate after 2 weeks clean with electric tooth brush ... This keeps the unit at relatively full power .

I've also got two units alternating on either side of a 60x27x27 tank on constant at 70%. I recently added an overlap so that both are on for about 30 seconds, and the coral seem to love it. The collision of the water almost looks like a wave breaking.

I can't wait for the Apex control to come out so I can do even more.
