After 15 years, it's time to shut down my 140 for good. It's been a great aquarium and we've had a lot of fun with it, but the time has come. We've got some interior remodeling to do on our home plus it's getting more and more difficult to do the maintenance. My plan is to move out the tank and its contents, get the work done on our home, and then start looking for an AIO that won't require me to get down on the floor.

First things first, let's get the corals out...

Sorry to see you go Steve - good luck...

The Neptune apex changed my life when it comes to the reef tank. I don't worry about anything anymore even when I'm away. It makes the hobby so much more enjoyable.

I was shocked to see the liquidation post, but I'm glad to hear you are not getting totally out! I'm just now building up my Innovative Marine 40 AIO that I put everything in when we did our floors last year, so I'll try and come visit. Tank looks great BTW!

oh Bummer. Good luck with your remodeling Steve. I'm sure there will be plenty of people lining up to give you some goodies when you get your feet wet again.

Thanks. Actually, that's just my personal record - I think Sharath had a tank running for 27 years, so he has the MARSH record as far as I know.

And I hear you on the maintenance - crawling around and reaching stuff under the stand definitely does not get easier as we get older!
