Kind of looks like @Reefahholic was right on this one…This is an email I received from BRS.
Dear Fellow Hobbyists,
While this may not impact you, it has been a prominent discussion recently in the community.
There have been quality concerns with Tropic Marin Pro-Reef Salt Mix manufactured in their Turkish facility, which has been closed. We have been working with Tropic Marin to formulate a plan around how they will be taking care of all of you, our customers.
Bulk Reef Supply will be handling the replacement of any affected salt mix purchased from us. We will not need any salt returned to us, but we will request your order number (from Bulk Reef Supply) and some information from the packaging.
We will begin replacement from our current, limited stock of Pro-Reef Salt manufactured in Germany using the replacement form below. Additional replacement salt is currently being manufactured in Germany and will be shipped to us as soon as possible, but this will take some time before we have enough to replace all of the affected salt. If you have Tropic Marin Pro-Reef Salt Mix manufactured in Turkey and would like a replacement, please complete the form linked below.

I know about 4 people currently still doing water changes trying to flush the system to save their Acro’s. They should have did it from the start but only did one big one and the issues came back.

BTW…I’m switching from IO to Red Sea Blue bucket.
IO is consistently high in Barium and Lithium.
