Well, if it ain't on the up n' up at least a buyer is only out $30. Think I'm gonna buy it just to check it out.

C'mon, man...This is eBay & as long as you pay with PayPal - no credit card exposed -, you areTOTALLY covered against fraud! I have been refunded every single time when it did happen...Thanks, PayPal!

That is an incredibly low price. I wonder if it is the real deal

The problem with buying this unit it is not strong enough for sps. Price aside its only adequate enough for softies

That is not accurate. I have grown SPS under them fine. If I had to say anything is wrong with them its the 60° secondary optics and I'm not a fan of the 2 red/2 green leds + would like some 420nm leds in them. They are however a lower wattage than the units you use and I would assume by correlation put out a lower par value.

The mars aqua lights use 60 Or 80 degree lenses, if I remember correctly. They can push power but don't have the spread that some of the other ones. Supplement them with t5s.

60° secondary optics. It’s my major gripe with them. Not to much of an issue if you can get over 12” above water line.

I guess it was too good to be true. ebay listing is gone.

Deanna did you get any feedback from from the seller?
So yeah, sometimes you take a gamble and it pays off, other times you don't and in this case the gamble didn't pay off.

I got an ebay notification that the item was no longer available. Pretty thankful I paid thru paypal so I know I will get my whoping $30 back, but as a precaution I do plan to change my password LOL!

Before the seller pulled the listing I did send an email requesting some assurance that he was legit. That the item was not refurbished, a cheap knock off, or damaged and all I got back was "I sell real things"

Oh well, its not too big of a deal, was just going to keep it as a back up anyways.

Well, eBay works fast "We've issued a refund of US $28.99 back to the original funding source you used to purchase this item. The refund includes the purchase price plus original shipping. Please allow 48 hours for it to process."

Im not gonna be the guy who said I told you so. You would not believe all the scams going on. If its to cheap to be true
they have a angle that often above my thinking. I have known a lot of people who have lost money on deals to good to be true.
