It just needs to be higher than the sample line so that it doesn’t siphon if disconnected.

Mine is going well. Almost 8+ months of use. Maybe more. Very useful. Only problem right now is reagents and finding them. Super helpful getting my ca reactor dialed in.

I was at fjw the other day. Picked up some reagent. Dennis said Neptune is not releasing the six month supplies until they are fully up and running again.
