I have a 120gal tank, 250 + lbs of live rock, (plenty of hiding places). I have had 1 true perc (2"), for about 3 months, six line wrasse, and a green chromis. Purchased another true perc (2") they literally have all the same markings, and color patterns, yesterday along with a yellow tang.

When a place the bag in the water to float, the perc in the tank immediately began to attack the bag. I was told to maybe take her out and place her in a container, and let the other loose. So, I did that for 24hrs. I placed her in a breeder basket in the tank. When I let it loose it was World War 3 in the tank. I gave it a little time, to see if it would calm down. After about 2hrs of nonstop attack, I grabbed the new 1 and placed it in the basket. I payed 2 much money 2 loose her. I have always wanted a pair, true percs, and was hoping this would work! can someone give any other suggestions, or should I cut my losses, b4 I have them?

In a 120g tank the other should have plenty of room to retreat a safe distance away from the established Percula. I'd let it be for a few days and see how the relationship improves. Are their numerous things for them to host in the tank?

It's best to add them at different sizes so dominance is established quickly. Worst case scenario you have two females.
