It's making more noise if I keep it just above the waterline. It's a new setup maybe it needs some slime build up?

Previously I have used flexible hose with no issues

Pump is running at the lowest flow setting. I added 90 elbow at just below water level and attached straight about 10" straight PVC, that reduced the noise a lot but, still not as silent as I want it to be.

I will keep on trying different things later on.

I have worked on the aquascaping earlier, put together some dry rock to create some formation without compromising the flow thru and around the rocks and have the flexibility to mount frags in different places and angles. I pre-drill all my rocks to just drop-in the plugs. Rocks have been cycling in the bath tub for few weeks. It was time to drop them in the tank along with couple of Mollys to cycle the tank. I have been feeding the tank frozen food and adding Seachem Stability to speedup the bacteria growth.

Got a temporary T5 fixture on the tank for the cycling time and placed order for LEDs Sat and delivered on Sunday from Amazon. Connected the lights with the WiFi yesterday, now I need to program the lighting cycle. Thinking about running the lights in the reverse order, I mean light will turn on around 5-6pm and run all night until 6am.

According to my Electricity package, I have free Electricity from 8pm to 6am, now you know the reason... :)

View of the tank after dropping the rocks in.

Thanks to my friends Ferras, @Cody and Kien Ho for helping out with some branch rocks to put together a tree...

Tanks looking good.
Thanks. Working on hanging the LEDs and it's time to install the Doors to the cabinet.

Looking for ideas for Topoff container. I have 13" wide, 19" deep and about 36" high space next to the sump. I bought a black slim garbage bin from HD with swinging lid but looking for better options...
