So i want to upgrade my display on my apex to something larger than the display that came with it. Has anyone done this using a tablet? If so, i'd sure like to hear about your setup and how you achieved this. What type tablet would I need to get? Are there specific specifications i need to look for to make sure i get the most out of the display like allows being on or displaying more content from the fusion app?

I just installed a cheapie used iPad. bought it off fleabay for 50 bux. Link HERE The seller is local. I had an issue (itunes locked), stopped by and they swapped me out in a jiffy. I have it plugged into on of my controllable USB ports on my controller, easy peasy. I have the screen setup to never off. I might schedule it on/off later on. I can also toggle to my Mastertronic screen if i want but really dont need to since everything is pulled into the Hydros anyway.

I like using the Amazon fire tablet with 8” monitor based on Neptune’s recommendation. worked perfectly till one day I smashed it because my water parameters were out of wack 😂😂😂😂

brand new $50.

I would go with a cheap Amazon tablet, but you’d need to “jail break” it a little for it to work. That’s what I did with mine, and it works fine.
