I helped a local reefer catch fish in his display last week that had a velvet outbreak, and due to my severe allergies that have plagued my life the last year, I had to use long gloves.

When I got home, I thoroughly scrubbed the exposed side of the gloves with bar soap, and they’ve been hanging out to dry in the sun the last week. At what point am I no longer risking exposing my tank to velvet? Are they clean?
