Anyone have one of these? Do you feel it actually works? I've read some pretty mixed results if it does anything other than block some of the flow. I printed the wrong size, (1/2") yesterday so I couldn't try it out. I have a 1/4" I'm going to put in my nano today when I do a bit of maintenance on it. I'm currently printing the 3/4" right now for the DT. I'm printing "finer" and slower so it takes about 4 hours per one.

Thingiverse Link if you want to print it.

The big 3/4" ones finished and I installed them. It's def creating a different pattern... I have two Jebao wavemakers already in the tank which create good flow so whether I needed it or not for the DT is debatable. The Nano tank of mine only has a return pump, so in that tank it may be more useful. IMG_20190224_122042.jpg IMG_20190224_122037.jpg IMG_20190224_121518.jpg

Is that plastic, if so I think you would get better results if you slow the feed rate down.. And or make sure your tooling, inserts, boring bars etc. are cleaned, sharp, and not burned up. The smoother the surface will be, I say it would certainly make the flow faster...
