IDK i bought the egg for like 50 bucks. So it not super expensive. I just wanted to see one hatch. I never planned to keep it as I didn't have the room. IDK what the eggs cost now but BB sells them

Gregg hatched one when he first got into the hobby and I promise you, his water wasn't perfect. His is now swimming at one of the moody gardens tanks.

There very cool to watch in the egg and then watching it hatch, I kept it till it was about 12” and then paraletho took it and raised it till it was too big for him. He then donated it to moody gardens... it seems really happy there! They are cool to have but you’ll at some point need to find a new home for it. My tank was only a couple months old when I first got the egg.

Idk I did mine in a 90 Gal. They don't really swim around much mostly stay close to the bottom. You should have soft sand as the belly can be easily scratched. and plenty of ground area and over hangs for the to hide under. They are pretty small when born maybe 4-8" tip to tip. Mine never ate any fish I had. I would feed it with tongs mostly a bottom feeder.

I’m with you on this one. I have a lot of sand bed and overhangs. But I fear my yt will bully it to death. Plus idk what my dad will say if I come home with a shark egg 😂

That will make a funny video, getting my parents reaction on camera that I got a shark 😂
Get a baby Atlantic black tip. If it does, they're actually pretty good when breaded and deep fried.
