Hey Everyone,

I grew up here in Houston but moved around a bit. Just moved back a couple years ago. Kept a freshwater tank for a few years and broke it down when we bought our new house.
Got a tank used from a guy upgrading and its been cycling about a month. Getting pretty close to getting rid of all the Ammonia and Nitrite in the tank. So I'm just doing all the research I can and visiting some local shops while I wait for things to settle.
I'm probably doing a million things wrong but hopefully I learn from my mistakes and get a little help on the way.

I got a 29G Biocube.

Anyways I'm kinda bummed I missed the aquarium tour but there is always next year.

It's a horrible time to start a reef tank. Winter is coming!

If you want to expedite the cycling process then use some nitrifying bacteria, such as biodigest.

I forgot to make an “I know nothing” quote in my post or title. I’ll see myself out. If I’m going to fail that hard I might as well get a new hobby. Lol

I’ve lived under a rock in more ways than one.
Hope I don’t miss the next event whatever that is. I need to remember to sign up.
