Even with natural sunlight, it looks like those corals aren't getting much light. Maybe the roof above them is transparent. Those black boxes are few and far between, plus they're hung pretty far away from the corals. I'd be curious to see how much par they're getting.

Was actually wondering the same thing. Water change with natural sea water from the ocean but using lights instead of sun? Maybe just for cloudy days? Doesn’t all add up without some clarification..

That's a thing of beauty. One of my "winning the lotto" dreams would be a large pool that functions as a reef tank. That way, I could snorkel or scuba in it on a daily basis. If its lit by the sun, I could put corals much deeper in the tank. My own land reef. Would be amazing!

May I ask why the 100% water changes? Are you heavily importing nutrients.?

Have you measured PAR between 12-3pm? Should be over 1,000.
To move the coral and also harvest full grown to ship. Doing this every few time a week. Water is 24/7 exchanging with ocean already so not a big change to them
