I have redsea 425xl . I would recommend Redsea if you have any issues they have a distribution center close to Houston. Heard waterbox customer service not very good .

I have Waterbox and they were helpful when I contacted customer service with some questions. There is usually a long wait to get specific tanks though but you can also check out The Fish Bowl and More in Pearland, as they usually have some in store. I know it can happen to any tank but I heard there were some leaking RedSea tanks recently on their FB page

CustomAquariums might be worth a look. I'm not a fan of their sump systems, but you don't need to get a sump from them.

I have a Waterbox 45.2 frag. It's a really nice tank and stand. Really easy assembly. You can do it by hand with no glue or tools. Only negative for me is the ato reservoir in the sump is only 2 gallons. About 2 days worth of evap.

i think the RS thing was resolved amicably (Red Sea took care of their customers) and that was quite a long time ago. @i_am_poor would know more.

My only experience with Waterbox is with the 50.3 all in one, and a strongly do not recommend it. One simple reason- there is not enough room in the back chambers for a decent skimmer. When I had mine, I found that WB actually sold skimmers for all the other sizes of AIOs (I don’t recall if they were a different brand) through their website, but for the 50.3, there was virtually no good option and I ended up using an Aquamaxx HOB skimmer... I think you’re looking for a much larger tank than 50 gallons, but figured I’d toss in my experience.

Waterbox does financing. They have been popular lately.

RedSea had some issues with stands and that scares me personally. However, they did address it and helped their customers which was the right thing to do. I do love Red Sea products.

Most of those tanks have metric plumbing that isn’t all that great. BRS sells metric conversion adapters though so you can plumb it with US pipe and fittings.

In Texas, Planet Aquariums is the best custom tank IMO both for price and build quality.

Online you can’t beat SC Aquariums deals.
