I need something that looks decent since I have no room for anything else under my 46G........

right now I am using a bucket.......ugly

you could always build something to cover it, like a little bench or endtable.

I left just enough room between my stand and the wall to put one of those 2 1/2 gallon jugs you get drinking water in. They are thin so they can fit in tight spots. I then cut a flap in the top to pour water in. I can slide it out, fill it up, then slide it back. It can't be seen from the front either.

You can do what what I did and get an acrylic tank from kevin. I also had the same problem and wanted something that looked more appealing. Go to www.aquaticimagesystem.com and ask for a quote. He can make you any size, shape, etc in no time. Here's the one he made for me (more pics in his gallery):
