If you could disregard tank size and money what fish would you get for your tank?
My dream fish is the niger triggerfish, or perhaps a blue pufferfish.

Funny thing...I was just thinking last night that if they could genetically alter dolphins to be about 6" long I would totally have a dolphin tank!

Seriously though, I've been wanting to add a group (3-5) of Helfrichi Firefish for a while now.

I would love a queen angelfish for my Caribbean tank, but I think 150 gallons is just too small. I would put one of those 6" dolphins in there too!

A dolphin tank sounds awesome, though you would need a tough screen top to prevent huge jumps out of the tank!

I know they aren't rare and several members here have them (at least one I know). They recommend 180g but everyone that I've talked to said you really need bigger as they are such active swimmers.

Resplendent Angelfish (Centropyge resplendens ), Interuptus Angelfish (Centropyge interruptus), Peppermint Angelfish (Centropyge boylei). Good luck getting the 1st one. Totally off limits in its natural range.

Fowleri tang, gem tang, or reef safe blue line angel :)

If you buy the captive bred blue line should be okay - I have mine for almost a year - has not messed with sps or clams. I don't have much lps/zoas but definitely adding some in the future.

Just got a 6 inch blueline finally eating after a week. Definitly nice but Scribble is still my favorite. Will never be
able to board them together as they are same genus. Loved my bandit angel, Gem tang definitely up there but
will never be in my budget.

I like those mini rays not stingrays. They are around a foot wide and swim like all the time. I like to watch them smoothly glide through the water. I also like those black batfish with the coral red outline to them. I have not seen one in years.

Those batfish are amazing! I’ve seen them at city pets from time to time. They look like they would get pretty big.

batfish when young are beautiful. they do get very large and loose their beauty. My blue line definitely a favorite looks to be a long
way from getting out of quarantine. Had started eating but only black live mussels. Got to be a pig before tank acclimation.

Was the batfish an open swimmer or was he shy?

+1 on the dogface. Looks just like our family dog, but in water. Oh. .that or take of tank full of piranhas that I would need to feed a cow weekly.

I hate Piranhas if you like their looks get silver dollars.... In the wild they prey on the old and sick in an aquarium it is usually healthy fish but they can not get away like in the wild cus they are confined. I had black and white vertical striped bat fish.... awesome fish and was a free swimming hardy fish.
