Very true.
More 90's brilliance for your eyeballs: (technically late 80's but it bled over into the 90's unfortunately)

I haven't seen that video in a while. How did the mustache go from being normal to creepy on young men so quickly?

Eah it's ridiculous looking back, but then again, when I was in middle school jnco jeans were popular too. Here's a pic of jnco style jeans for all y'all under the age of 25. Yeah....theyre ridiculous.

Umm please no.

I’m young enough to have missed bell bottoms and old enough to have missed those. I feel blessed.

They say that style is 20 years cyclical. The jnco jeans of the 90's were a spin off of the bell bottoms of the 70s. Me thinks the time is right for a revival!

My first job was fun. Started out by NOT getting hired at Kmart where my buddies worked for minimum wage, $5.75hr if I remember right. I was bummed out about it too.
But very shortly after I got hired at a money wire transfer place for $7.75 hr :).I was going to high school full time and working 40 hrs a week. I stayed tired.
I was able to buy an old truck and had enough money to get in trouble with.Good times.

In high school I mowed a neighbor's yard. It was over an acre on a hill and I got $10. Now you could get about 10 square feet mowed for that much.

I also tried to make my fortune picking blueberries at a farm near our house. I spent 3 or 4 hours in the hot sun and I think brought home less than $5 - I only did that once.

Wanted to give y’all an update I had my first day of work today! And it was a long training day, but should be flipping burgers in no time! lol
Just don't let it get in the way of your school. Work will always be there whether you like it or not.

Before I was old enough to have a "job" I cut grass and did other odd jobs for my grandmother and other old widows. Also, I did carpenter work with my dad starting in grade school. Probably started grass cutting, odd jobbing and carpenter work around 10 (1981). My first actual job was a stocker at a grocery store in 1987.
