Wait Steve there are 1 genus of angel fish that are completely reef safe I have one!
Genicanthus angel fish In that genus are 100% reef safe. I have a female bellus angel, I’ve got a mixed reef with a clam and I’ve had meaty lps and has lps in the tank with it. There are a few other species but I personally like the bellus and the Watanabei Angelfish.

As far as tangs, my favorites are yt, Atlantic blue tang, Lieutenant tang ( saw these while in Hawaii and omg I wanted to take them home With me! ) and cus it’s a big tank a beautiful male blonde naso with streamers starting to develop!

Safe as a butterfly fish. :D

Just picking...I gave up on angel’s. If they pick at one coral that’s enough for me too cook them.

My hippo tang munches on more coral than any angel I've ever had. My hippo loves anything green. I sit and watch him take bites out of my candy canes and my lobo brain mostly. Thankfully, he doesn't devour them and the corals usually heal back within a few days.

That is good to know. The convicts constantly eat algae, even when frozen food is floating around.
