Noticed a single white spec on my midnight clown yesterday. Not exactly sure how long it's been there. Any idea if I should be worried and take measures or give it a couple days? Acting normal and eats like a pig. Haven't tested my water yet, and won't be able to as my wife and I are leaving the house for a few days. Crazy bc I've had these clowns for 6 years and didn't really take care of the tank and no issues, no I'm actually caring and trying to make the tank better and it has this spec. Thanks, I know I'm not giving a lot to go on. db2340548ceafe17b81a8703ba7e2166.jpg 624ea6d9e418b447f2ff03856225601c.jpg cc5ec862fa3f06d431742d7d165595c5.jpg cfd228cd449518682a01fe7ead0de8d7.jpg

Yea, I was gonna say he probably bumped into a rock and got a scratch. My fish get things like that on their foreheads sometimes, which tells me they probably bumped into a rock.

If you've had him for 6 years and have had no new additions, including snails, corals, etc, then I doubt it's anything to worry about.

Well since I got back in the hobby and started taking care of the tank again, I've added a few corals and a tomini tang. Tang is kind of a bully so I'm wondering if that's where the spec came from.

That's where my money is. But can't rule out disease with the new additions either, depending on your QT process.
