I AM!!! Remember the Vibrant thread? I was the one that started dosing, it’s happening
Haha ok good. Otherwise I was going to start paying Sharath to dump it in your tank whenever he visits.

Took months of hard work to get it to this point, lots of reefroids dedication went into this thing. I was really worried about it cause it was so small, treated this thing like a king.
Are we still talking about your mystery coral? The torch definitely looks like a cristata to me, but at this point, there are probably a lot of “mutts” out there, lol. My cristata colony has a variety of tip-shapes. Some look more like hammers, some frogspawn... there are even hybrid names out there like “frammer”, “hammerspawn”, etc. Regardless, if it’s healthy and pretty, it’s all good 😁

Taking a closer look at the mystery coral, while the tentacles do resemble galaxea, I’m not sure of the base. May be a thin tentacle torch (or another hybrid, lol)

Here are a full shot and some close ups of my cristata/frammer, or whatever it really is.

And if the other one is a single “head”, I would expect the base to be smaller if it’s galaxea. Hard to tell in the pic but this is a single polyp (skeleton is only about 1/2 inch) that got knocked off my galaxea. It reminds me more of a section of pineapple... narrow tapered base. Another polyp that got knocked off now has a couple smaller “buds” developing.

I feel like it probably is galaxea, went and looked at some galaxea colonies and frags in person and they look very similar. Thanks y’all for helping me out with the ID! As for the other coral, I believe it’s either a torch hybrid or a cristata from the pics.

I'll trade for the Galaxea I can probably isolate it to a rock in my 180. It looks very pretty.
It’s beautiful! I’m gonna be really sad to see it go but I really don’t have the room that it needs. What were you thinking of trading? I’ve got a couple of things on my wish list

Hey Picasso, I have a lot of SPS that I can easily frag quite a few to be honest. I have some LPS that I can cut mostly hammers and frogspawn, I might be able to cut a piece of the Duncan as well.

What are you looking for?

Would frogspawn die in the middle of a hammer garden? Not sure how nice they play with each other. What color are the frogs/hammer? Is the Duncan just a regular Duncan? Looking for a lavender one. What sps do you have?

Nah infact I've had my frogspawn next to my hammers before.

Oh I didn't read your full message its a standard Duncan I think. I don't know there was more thatn one.

I have quite a few SPS this in my 180 I can frag anything over 3 inches in there.

It's green with purple tips, the hammer is teal.
