yeah you probably have to rinse the water line - salt creep. It's simple just use some hot/warm water and use salifer test kit syringe to push water through it since the line is super skinny.
TX Punisher thought me that trick. (y)

Also, if you search r2r there is a post that shows how to program the individual outlet the trident is on in advance programming to have the trident test once or twice per day! Very simple code.

next, here is a video for the chemists on how to make your own trident alk reagent

if you make your own alk reagent (A) ... what do you do when you run out of the B - C bottles? Only way to get those is to buy a box of reagents that already comes with A-B-C. I guess this would be good if you test ALK more than twice what you do with the others.

They are going to make those as well. Just waiting on supplies.

Omg i thought there was no way around to testing so much and set times. Definetly worth it now. Won't have to run through so many reagents. Thank you!!

I just recently got one and still dialing it in. I like how much it tests but will change it when I get my parameters where I want them.

I just removed the GHL… like Chuck said in another thread… I really wanted to love it, but it wasn’t for me. Right now, I have it hooked up to my “86ed Tank” (for bad reef citizens). 😂

So far, I am liking the Trident a great deal. I actually had a bad experience with Neptune (back in the day), so from me… that’s a pretty big statement. Thank God for that old Unofficial Guide or I would’ve sent it all back to Neptune with a weeks worth of dog droppings (just kidding… or am I?)!
