So been getting a lot of flickering of the power past few days. Others in the area have reported the same if not more ... anyone have a whole house surge protector installed recently?

Whole house surge protector would not stop the flickering since in most cases the flickering would be power cutting out, not a surge. I have looked into them though and they are a few hundred to get installed.

It's not the flickering just the surge of energy when brought back online. Thats what kills the electronics. I have surge protectors on most outlets but a whole house may be easier.
