From 1988 to 2018 I was a big sailor. 16 to 18 footers with no motor. I loved sailing in Gayle force winds always side by side with freighters. Lots of fun and would go out the whole day.

My uncle is about to sell his. I believe it is 20-24 ft. Looks brand new. PM me if you want info. He just had it ceramic coated also.

Yeah sure if it’s a bay boat and center console.

You know the two best days in a boat owner’s life? The day he buys it and the day he sells it.

Edit: I hope this is understood to be a joke. Lol! Boats are fine if you use them regularly and clean them after you are done. The issue becomes when you leave them sitting or don't wash out the salt after running them. The fuel system gets all gummed up which can lead to lean condition on carbureted motors. This is especially harmful in 2- stroke engines since the lubrication is in the fuel. I had a 2 stroke Sea-Doo that ran for years and years until the oil injection pump failed and cratered the motor.

I was on lake Livingston yesterday at a park just hanging out with the wife and saw some really nice boats coming and going. I hate to imagine how much they cost. Boats probably have to be 100k brand new now.

That's too rich for my blood. I'm gonna get me a good bay boat with a 4 stroke engine. It would be a awesome bonus if it has somewhat of a high gunwall so that I may venture out offshore on calm days.

Anyone getting in on the flounder, reds, sheep and specs catching? Seems like people are slaying them in FB!! I'd venture out if I knew where to catch them from land since I don't have a boat.
